Brian Wilson, of Ted Strauser & Co, Inc. Electrical Contractors, had a business card on the web. It was simply his name, address and phone number, in black text on a white background. Not something he was in a hurry to give out when speaking of his business. He knew that with his clientele and fellow contractors, he needed something that showed a bit more “Main Line”, as he put it.
The company’s specialty is Electrical CAD designs. They’re the only electrician in the area providing full CAD drawing plans of the electrical work before he gets a job. We incorporated that into the site design as a background and the first menu item.
Brian also didn’t have a logo for his business. I was able to design a shield with an outlet and a CAD compass to reinforce their electrical and CAD design work. Also, we were able to incorporate a new slogan, “Grounded in Service” in the logo design.
Brian’s already received some great feedback since his launch and he’s now happy to tell people about his website.
