I want a Blog
Jeffrey Kauffman, psychotherapist, contacted us about his website and had a “simple” request. He had an older Joomla website from his prior developer and wanted to add a blog. However, it was using an older, unsupported Joomla version that we could not properly update without breaking his site. He did say that he was having trouble updating information on the old site as well.
Switching Directions
After some discussion about various alternatives, Jeffrey and I worked together to mimic his old site into a more easily maintained WordPress site. We were able to transfer all of his old content and made the site look almost identical. We were able to make it mobile responsive, and of course, he was able to get his blog and a site that’s easier to keep up-to-date. We were also able to integrate Mailchimp for people to sign up for his regular updates.
